Utilising the shape of Sonoyta, her first limited edition, Kerry harnesses mycorrhizal fungi to allow us to return to the freedom of childhood, the time when we first catch sight of those spotty red and white toadstools in fairy stories and other children’s book illustrations, such as Alice in Wonderland. Kerry too, takes you on a journey, where toadstools appear to grow into the landscape of trees themselves and a surreal blue-green haze lures us into the composition.
